Drilon, Angara accept ice bucket challenge
MANILA, Philippines—The latest craze on social media, the ice bucket challenge, has already reached the Senate with its president, Senator Franklin Drilon, taking a congressman’s ice bucket challenge.
“Challenge accepted, Rep. Neil Tupas!” Drilon said on Twitter on Thursday.
It was Tupas who nominated Drilon to take the challenge.
Drilon, in a text message, said he would do the ice bucket challenge at 11am on Monday, September 1 at his office.
At 2:30 p.m Thursday, Senator Sonny Angara would also do the ice bucket challenge in the Senate after he was nominated by another member of the House of Representatives.
