MANILA, Philippines—A new low pressure area has entered the Philippine area of responsibility, the weather bureau said on Thursday.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that the new LPA–coming right after an LPA, which lingered for three days, left the country on Wednesday and flooded Metro Manila streets–was spotted 500 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, at 4 a.m. Thursday.
Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Cagayan Valley, Bicol, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Central Visayas and Zamboanga Peninsula will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Pagasa added that the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
