MANILA, Philippines—Justice Secretary Leila De Lima on Wednesday confirmed that like the police, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is pursuing “love triangle” as the possible motive in the death of racing champion Enzo Pastor last June.
However, De Lima said the NBI, an attach agency of the Department of Justice (DOJ), cannot file a criminal complaint just yet.
She said the NBI will coordinate with police for information-sharing.
The family of Enzo Pastor sought the NBI’s help immediately after the 28-year-old racer was killed by motorcycle-riding men in Quezon City last June.
