LRT-1 train stalls, disrupts northbound operations

MANILA, Philippines—A Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line 1 train at Pedro Gil station in Ermita, Manila stalled on Wednesday morning, disrupting operations of trains going northbound, media reports said.

The glitch in the train at the Pedro Gil station forced trains at its preceding stations to stop as well. Because of the stoppages, the passengers were forced to get off the trains.

As of posting time, a report said ‎all trips going to Roosevelt station in Quezon City will be interrupted until further notice.

But it said operations of southbound going to Baclaran remain uninterrupted.
