MANILA, Philippines – After lingering inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility for three days, the low pressure area that submerged much of Metro Manila in floods left for the open seas although the metropolis will continue to experience rainshowers and thunderstorms Wednesday, the weather bureau said.
In its advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the LPA was at 640 kilometers west of Baguio, City at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Pagasa added that while the LPA would not affect any part of the country, Metro Manila will experience partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Caraga and Davao regions will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers or thunderstorms while the rest of the country will have similar weather conditions as the National Capital Region, Pagasa said in its morning forecast Wednesday.
