MANILA, Philippines–Metro Manila and surrounding provinces may continue to experience “moderate to occasionally heavy” rains on Wednesday due to a low pressure area affecting Luzon, according to the weather bureau.

After the heavy rainfall throughout Tuesday, the weather bureau raised the orange warning level, saying flooding threatened Metro Manila and the provinces of Bataan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon.

At the same time, the weather bureau raised the yellow warning level and warned of flooding in low-lying areas in the surrounding provinces of Zambales, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac and Nueva Ecija.
