BIR chief Kim Henares accepts ice bucket challenge

MANILA, Philippines–Bureau of Internal Revenue chief Kim Henares has accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge but says she believes there is no need to make it a public event.

“Yes, I take it seriously but I do not think it needs to be covered publicly,” Henares said in a text message.

She said she would do the challenge and make the donation.
