MANILA, Philippines – After being forced to suspend all operations on Saturday, the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) is up and running again, a spokesperson said.
Atty. Hernando Cabrera, MRT spokesperson, announced over Twitter that the MRT will resume operations on Sunday after the communication system of the line has been restored.
MRT operations starting Saturday noon were suspended because of a communication system breakdown.
The control center was not able to communicate with the train drivers, forcing the management to stop operations for the safety of the passengers.
