Pasig, Quezon City road repairs to slow weekend traffic

Motorists may expect heavy traffic in parts of Pasig City and Quezon City over the long weekend due to road reblocking and other repairs.

According to an advisory Friday from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the outermost southbound lane of C-5 Road from J. Vargas to CJ Caparas Street in Pasig will be closed starting 10 p.m. Friday up to 5 a.m. Monday.

In Quezon City, there will also be repairs on a southbound lane of Araneta Avenue from Del Monte to Maria Clara Street; a southbound lane of E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue and C-5 Road between Mercury and Eastwood Avenue; a northbound lane of Fairview Avenue from Doña Carmen to Winston Street; and a westbound lane of Congressional Avenue from Mindanao Avenue to April Street.
