THE regular 6 p.m. “Boxing at the Park” in Mandaue City will be held starting this Saturday at the rooftop of the newly-completed Mandaue public market located at the back of the Mandaue Sports Complex.

Organized by ALA Gym in coordination with the Mandaue City Sports Commission, the amateur boxing competition is the first activity to be held in the new public market after its recent turnover to the city government by its contractor.

“The new venue is ideal since it is located near the sea and a vantage point for scenic view,” said Atty. Hidelito Pascual, executive director of Mandaue City Sports Commission.
