MANILA, Philippines – The southbound lane of the Magallanes Interchange will be accessible to all types of vehicles starting Tuesday night, the Metropolitan Manila Development said.
“Magallanes Interchange SB will be open to all types of vehicles tonight, August 19, 2014 starting 8p.m.,” the MMDA said in an advisory.
The southbound portion of the interchange from Osmeña Highway to South Luzon Expressway was closed to traffic for a 10-day repair since August 8. It reopened to light vehicles on Monday.
The Department of Public Works and Highways said it closed the southbound portion of Magallanes Interchange to rehabilitate the 39-year-old structure. MMDA initially said that it will reopen to all types of vehicles by Wednesday morning, August 20.
