Car falls from elevated parking lot in busy commercial center

MANILA, Philippines- A car fell from the third floor of an elevated parking space at Greenhills Shopping Center in San Juan City on Friday afternoon, police said.

Senior Police Officer 1 Ronnie Leano of San Juan Police station said the white Mitsubishi Galant Super Saloon fell into the street below and hit two other vehicles—a sedan and a sports utility vehicle—parked there.

A radio report, meanwhile, said the driver, identified as Juanito Nocus, 73, was injured and rushed to the Cardinal Santos Medical Center.
Barangay officials who rushed to the scene were quoted by the report as saying that Nocus suffered a heart attack that caused him to lose control of the car.

The report said the driver is in stable condition as of posting time.
