Pi Sigma marks 42nd year at UP Diliman Friday

MANILA, Philippines–The Pi Sigma fraternity will mark its 42nd founding anniversary on Friday with a series of activities starting with the signing of a memorandum of agreement with the College of Mass Communication of the University of the Philippines Diliman for the donation of “Dap-ay”—a place for gathering—for its students.

After a motorcade around the campus, the fraternity will hold a program and thanksgiving celebration at its tambayan at Vinzons Hall.

On Saturday, Aug. 16, the Pi Sigma Fraternity Alumni Association will hold its annual assembly at Bellagio Square on 243 Tomas Morato Avenue corner Scout Fuentebella Street, Quezon City.

Since its founding on Aug. 15, 1972, in UP Diliman, Pi Sigma has become one of the biggest fraternities in the country with established chapters in major universities and communities across the country.

Guided by its twin principles of Paglingkuran ang Sambayanan and Paragon of Scholarship, the fraternity has continuously renewed its idealism and passion for service, scholarship and leadership.
