Clouds to blanket PH Tuesday

MANILA, Philippines–The country will be cloudy Tuesday with the southwest monsoon still lingering, the state weather bureau said.

In its early-morning bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the southwest monsoon will specially affect extreme northern Luzon, bringing occasional rains over Batanes and the Calayan and Babuyan groups of islands.

Pagasa added that Metro Manila and the rest of the Philippines will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
