Two knife-wielding robbers took cell phones and cash from the passengers of a UV Express unit plying C5 Road in Pasig City Friday afternoon.
The robbers boarded the vehicle driven by Alfredo Salazar Jr. at Life Homes, Barangay Rosario, around 1:20 p.m. and announced the holdup that victimized three other passengers, according to P03 Rodelio Olalia of the Pasig police.
The robbers then got off as the vehicle reached Kalayaan Avenue in Makati.
One of the suspects was later identified based on police records as a resident of Sampaloc, Manila.
He is now the subject of follow-up operations, Olalia said. Vanessa B. Hidalgo
