MANILA, Philippines—A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted Davao Occidental on Thursday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
In its earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs said that the epicenter of the magnitude 5.0 quake was spotted at 141 kilometers east southeast of Sarangani. It occurred at 1:24p.m. and had a depth of six kilometers.
No damage to infrastructure or aftershocks are expected.
