MANILA, Philippines — Principal whistleblower in the pork barrel scam Benhur Luy arrived at the Sandiganbayan on Thursday morning to testify anew against Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. who is seeking bail.
Luy, in a bulletproof vest, arrived around 7:40 a.m. at the First Division to undergo cross examination by defense lawyers.
Revilla is also expected to appear before the anti-graft court. He is currently detained at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center as he faces plunder and graft in connection with the P10 billion pork barrel scam.
