PMA lists down 37 sites for entry tests
BAGUIO CITY—The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) will hold this year’s entrance examinations on Aug. 3 in 37 testing centers, many of them high schools, around the country.
The PMA, in a statement, said it expected up to 16,000 applicants to take the tests.
Baguio City applicants may proceed to Fort del Pilar. The PMA said applicants who have not received their test permits or have pending applications should bring their valid IDs, Form 137 (transcript of records or high school report card), birth certificates, sets of two 2×2 pictures, two pencils and snacks.
Metro Manila applicants may go to Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila in Manila and Ramon Magsaysay High School in Cubao.
Applicants in the provinces may go to the following test centers: Batanes National High School in Basco town, Batanes province; Northwestern University in Laoag City; University of Pangasinan Phinma in Dagupan City; Mountain Province General Comprehensive High School in the Mountain Province capital, Bontoc, and Nueva Vizcaya State University in Bayombong town, Nueva Vizcaya province.
They may also proceed to Cagayan National High School in Tuguegarao City; Araullo University in Cabanatuan City; Tarlac State University in Tarlac City, and Pampanga High School in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga province.
In southern Luzon, applicants may take exams at Divine Word College in Calapan City; Fernando Air Base in Lipa City; Holy Trinity University in Puerto Princesa City; Quezon National High School in Lucena City; Naval Forces Southern Luzon Rawis in Legazpi City, and University of Nueva Caceres in Naga City.
In the Visayas, applicants may go to West Negros University in Bacolod City; Iloilo National High School in Iloilo City; Northwestern Visayas Colleges in Kalibo town, Aklan province; Southwestern University in Cebu City; Negros Oriental State University in Dumaguete City; Holy Name University in Tagbilaran City; Samar State University in Catbalogan City, and Leyte Normal University in Tacloban City.
In Mindanao, applicants may go to the Western Mindanao Command of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in Zamboanga City; Agusan National High School in Butuan City; Camp Evangelista gymnasium of the Philippine Army’s 4th Infantry Division in Cagayan de Oro City; Misamis University in Ozamiz City, and Mindanao Polytechnic College in General Santos City.
