MANILA, Philippines—The impeachment complaints filed against President Benigno Aquino III will not pass Congress, more INQUIRER.net readers believe so according to a poll.
There were 3,289 or 85.67 percent of the respondents answered “No” to the poll question “Do you think the impeach complaint filed vs Aquino will pass Congress?”
Meanwhile, there were 550 votes or 14.33 percent that answered “Yes” to the poll question.
So far, three impeachment complaints have been filed against Aquino. On Monday and Tuesday, anti-pork barrel groups and youth groups filed separate impeach raps against Aquino over the controversial Disbursement Acceleration Program.
On Thursday, a third impeachment complaint was filed against Aquino at the House of Representatives, this time over the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement.
The complaint was endorsed by Gabriela Representative Emmi de Jesus.
