MANILA, Philippines—The Supreme Court has opted to keep silent on the tirades and threats of President Benigno Aquino III.
High Court’s Information Chief Theodore Te said “the Supreme Court has no comment on the President’s speech yesterday (Monday, July14).”
At the same time, Te said the Supreme Court is still studying the report from the Commission on Audit (COA).
COA reports said that the high court justices appropriated for themselves P3.2 billion in “savings” or one-fifth of its annual allocation for 2012 despite existing obligations during the period.
