Senate suspends afternoon work due to ‘Glenda’

MANILA, Philippines — The Senate on Tuesday suspended its afternoon work due to Typhoon “Glenda.”

Senate employees were directed to go home at around 4 p.m., earlier than their usual 7 p.m. schedule.

The Senate leadership has not made any announcement yet whether it would also cancel the chamber’s work on Wednesday.
