Soliman has directed all concerned field offices to keep on coordinating with local government units to immediately address the needs of the affected families.

Meanwhile, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council has also issued a “blue alert,” which means that half of the personnel of all regional and municipal disaster risk reduction management offices, the regional offices of the civil defense and other government agencies should be at their posts to monitor the situation.
