NDRRMC: Palawan bridge collapses due to heavy rains
MANILA, Philippines—A bridge in Palawan collapsed due to heavy rains, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said on Thursday.
Carigmalan Bridge 1 in sitio Quezon in Patag village, Culion town collapsed on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
There were no reported casualties, the NDRRMC report said, adding that heavy rains and strong current of Carigmalan River caused the bridge to fall.

A construction of a detour bridge is also ongoing.
