MANILA, Philippines — At least 30 members of various militant groups held a rally in front of the Sandiganbayan on Tuesday as they called for the arrest of President Benigno Aquino III over the pork barrel scam.

The rallyists from Kilusang Mayo Uno, Gabriela, Kadamay, Samahan ng Maralitang Kababaihang Nagkakaisa, and People Surge chanted “Lahat ng sangkot, dapat managot (All those involved should be held accountable).”

They said Aquino and his allies involved in the scam should also be held arrested. They called the president “Pork barrel king.”

Gabriela Representative Luz Ilagan was present during the rally, calling for all those involved in the scam to be held accountable.

“Ang hustisya, dapat bulag. Lahat ng sangkot, dapat managot (Justice should be blind. Hold all those involved accountable),” Rep. Ilagan said

The Sandiganbayan is hearing the pork barrel scam cases of Senators Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada, Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. and Juan Ponce Enrile who were charged with plunder and graft with alleged mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles.
