Typhoon to enter PH Sunday

MANILA, Philippines–Typhoon Neoguri  spotted outside the country  was expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility on Sunday morning, the state weather bureau said Saturday.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that as of 4 a.m., the typhoon was spotted at 1,410 kilometers east northeast of Virac, Catanduanes.

Pagasa said the typhoon would be named “Florita” once it enters the country.

It said Bicol Region, Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan (Mimaropa) and Visayas would experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms on Saturday.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, it added.
