Fires hit Ermita building, Sampaloc residential area

MANILA, Philippines–Fire is currently sweeping through a stretch of homes in Sampaloc, Manila on Monday afternoon, after a condominium building in Ermita also caught fire in the morning.

A radio report said the blaze has been engulfing houses along Lardizabal street‎ since around 12 noon.

The fire was placed under fourth alarm‎ as of posting time.

Meanwhile, a portion of the Gotesco Regency Twin Towers along Natividad Lopez street was also hit by fire

The blaze reached third alarm but was quickly put out by firefighters.

No one has been reported injured in the separate incidents.
