Revilla is charged with plunder, a non-bailable offense, and graft over his alleged involvement in the pork barrel scam.

Revilla was with his wife and Cavite Representative Lani Mercado, their children and Bacoor Mayor Strike Revilla, the senator’s brother.

Father Bobby Capino who celebrated mass at the St. Michael Church attended by the Revillas early Friday said in his sermon: “Justice will be served if we do not allow ourselves to be used by anger, hatred and vengeance; justice will be served if we allow ourselves to reveal the truth; justice will be served if we allow ourselves to be healed. Face your accuser peacefully.”

Revilla was escorted by several motorcycles on his way to church while what has now become his signature song “Salamat kaibigan” was being played.

As he left the church, Revilla was hugged by some supporters. Others raised banners saying, “Sen. Bong, mahal ka namin hindi ka namin iiwan [Sen. Bong, we love you, we won’t leave you].”
