Revilla arrest warrant signed

MANILA, Philippines – The arrest warrant for Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. has been signed at the Sandiganbayan, according to a television report.

The warrant is expected to be served at the soonest possible time on Friday although Revilla said that he would turn himself in before the anti-graft court once the order has been issued.

Revilla is charged with plunder, a non-bailable offense, and graft over his alleged involvement in the pork barrel scam, together with Senators Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada and Juan Ponce Enrile.
