Advertising manager loses P100K worth of valuables to snatcher on motorbike
MANILA, Philippines—An advertising manager lost almost P100,000 worth of valuables after a motorcycle rider snatched her shoulder bag as she was walking home in San Juan City on Monday night.
A police report identified the victim as Marianne Matic Mangila, 23.
The report did not say the company she has been working for.
PO3 Gener Adrian Antazo, the case investigator, said Mangila was walking home with her cousin Erwin Michael Mato on Gen. Vicente Lim St. in Barangay Little Baguio when her bag was snatched at 8:45 p.m.
Antazo said a man wearing a black jacket and helmet suddenly came from behind on board his black motorcycle, grabbed the victim’s bag, and forced it off her shoulder.
“It didn’t take long. He just grabbed the bag and didn’t have to threaten her with a weapon,” he said.
