MANILA, Philippines—Most probably, Janet Lim-Napoles won’t be joining her fellow pork barrel scam suspects in Fort Sto. Domingo in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Chief Superintendent Reuben Theodore Sindac, Philippine National Police Public Information Office (PNP PIO) chief, said on Wednesday that it is a “remote possibility” that the three senators indicted for plunder before the Sandiganbayan for allegedly pocketing huge kickbacks from their pork barrel allotments would be brought to the Laguna facility.

“Unless there would be a hasty construction of structures, the configuration at Fort Sto. Domingo is very limited and we are talking of 54 possible people who might be involved,” Sindac said.

But if the Sandiganbayan commits senators Juan Ponce Enrile, Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada and Ramon Revilla Jr. to the Laguna police camp, Sindac said they would comply.

At the PNP Custodial Center, renovations had been made, reportedly in preparation for the arrest of the three lawmakers and several others involved in the scam.

“The PNP Custodial Center is one of the options, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is another. But Fort Sto. Domingo is a remote possibility,” Sindac added.
