LPA hovers near northern Luzon
MANILA, Philippines – As the rainy season nears, one weather disturbance has formed over northern Luzon, the weather bureau said Monday.
In its weather advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that at 10 a.m. Monday the LPA was plotted 180 kilometers north of Laoag City or 110 kilometers northwest of Calayan Island.
According to Pagasa, the LPA would bring cloudy skies and light to moderate rains and thunderstorms over Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley regions, and the provinces of Bataan and Zambales.
Also, coastal waters in those areas would be moderate to rough.
