MANILA, Philippines—The Supreme Court has denied the request of detained real estate developer Delfin Lee that an oral argument should be conducted on issues covered by pending petitions and motions involving his dispute with the Home Mutual Development Fund (Pag-Ibig Fund).

Lee, in his petition, said he and the public deserves a chance to know the truth about Pag-IBIG’s accusations against him.

He said the oral argument is the only chance that the public will be enlightened about the controversy, especially after the Senate indefinitely postponed its hearings on the Pag-IBIG case.

But the high court denied the request for lack of merit.
