Cam appears in Senate to oppose De Lima confirmation

MANILA, Philippines—Sandra Cam, president of the Whistleblowers Association of the Philippines, showed up in the Senate on Wednesday to oppose the confirmation of Justice Secretary Leila De Lima.

Cam was among the three personalities who filed sworn oppositions against de Lima before the committee on justice and judicial bar council of the powerful Commission on Appointments.

The two others were former Congressman Orlando Fua and a certain Ma. Virginia Libunao.
