MANILA, Philippines–With the trough of a low pressure area affecting extreme northern Luzon, some areas in the northern part of the country will experience a cloudy and rainy Wednesday, the weather bureau said.

In its early-morning weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration says that the regions of Cagayan Valley, Ilocos and Cordillera, and the province of Aurora will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, according to the bulletin, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies that could bring isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
