MANILA, Philippines—A 4.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Davao Occidental on Friday but no aftershocks were expected, state volcanologists said.
The quake’s epicenter was 132 kilometers southeast of Sarangani town, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The tremor was recorded at 9:33a.m. It had a depth of 23 kilometers.
There was no immediate damage, Phivolcs said.
