MANILA, Philippines—Janet Lim-Napoles, the alleged brains behind a P10-billion pork barrel scam, was taken back to her detention bungalow at Fort Sto. Domingo in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, on Thursday night after almost two months in the Ospital ng Makati (OsMak).
On board a white van with her security escorts, the detained businesswoman arrived at the highly-secured Special Action Forces (SAF) police camp in Laguna at 10:20 p.m in less than an hour of travel time.
Wearing a bulletproof vest and a navy blue hoodie, Napoles was escorted out of the OsMak in a wheelchair by some policemen around 9:35 p.m.
Among the security escorts were Senior Superintendent Ronald Santos, deputy regional director for operations of the Calabarzon police.

Chief Superintendent Jesus Gatchalian, Calabarzon Police Regional Director, said Napoles was not accompanied by any of her family’s members or her lawyers, but only by two female security personnel.
Gatchalian said they would implement the same visiting policies as before.
On regular days, Napoles is allowed to receive visitors from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday and from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. during weekends.
Earlier Thursday, the Makati Regional Trial Court (RTC) ordered the immediate transfer of Napoles back to jail after a series of pleas to stay in the hospital.
The detained businesswoman was admitted March 31.
Napoles’ transfer to jail was deferred by her recurring vaginal bleeding after she underwent total hysterectomy and a bilateral salpingo-ophorectomy to remove her uterus and both ovaries last April 23.
Following a court order, Napoles was discharged at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday.
