4th Pagasa forecaster next to quit, bound for Qatar

MANILA, Philippines—The weather bureau is about to lose a fourth man to Qatar.
Philippine Weathermen Employees Association president Ramon Agustin told the Inquirer that the weather observer, who has been with the bureau for over 20 years, is the newest Qatar Bureau of Meteorology recruit and is among seven Pagasa employees who were offered jobs in the Middle East country last year.—Jeannette I.
