Fort Bonifacio blast claims third fatality

MANILA, Philippines—After almost 17 days of battling his injuries, one more among the victims of the Fort Bonifacio blast has died.

Lieutenant Colonel Noel Detoyato confirmed on Thursday that 1st Lieutenant Dinar Alosada passed away Wednesday afternoon at 3:39 pm.

Corporal Bernabe Mota and Master Sargeant Ferdinand Rafal were the first two fatalities of the blast.

“They were the only ones (Mota, Rafal, and Alosada) that were critically wounded in the fire and blast as they were inside the vicinity of the incident,” Detoyato said.

Detoyato added that Alosada would be brought to Libingan ng mga Bayani Thursday afternoon for his wake.
