Did you know: Camilo Osias

Today, May 20, is the 38th death anniversary of lecturer, writer and former Senate President Camilo Osias. Born on March 23, 1889, Osias was first elected senator in 1925. He was also the first president of National University. He authored many books about Jose Rizal, such as “Jose Rizal: His Life and Times.” He died in 1976.—Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
