JCI Run2Lead postponed

THE holding of the JCI Run2Lead, Run for a Cause at Parkmall this Sunday was postponed to Nov. 12, 2011 due to the low turnout of participants.

Eli Espina, president of the organizing JCI Cebu-Mactan Channel, announced the postponement during the SCOOP Forum together with race director Joel Baring.

“Due to low turnout, the organizer decided to reschedule the event and we apologize for the inconvenience caused, we ask for consideration especially to those who registered since this event is intended to raise fund for (a noble project) “Read to Lead,” Espina said.

Runners who already enlisted can still claim their specialized JCI singlet at Parkmall and use it on the rescheduled date. Espina also asked the project partners to bear with the situation and still support the rescheduling of the event.

Registration is still ongoing at Runnr Ayala, Parkmall and Cebu City Sports Center. /PR
