Fire guts building inside Camp Bagong Diwa

MANILA, Philippines–‎Fire gutted a two-story building inside Camp Bagong Diwa, the official headquarters of the Metro Manila police, in Taguig City on Monday night.

‎The fire razed several units of the Married Non-officers’ Quarters (MNOQ) building at the police camp along East Service Road, Lower Bicutan.

“MNOQ building with five units was totally razed,” Police Director Carmelo Valmoria, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief, said in a text message to INQUIRER.net.

But Valmoria said ‎no one was reported injured in the blaze.

The police official said the fire was put under control around 10 p.m.
