MANILA, Philippines—The Taguig Regional Trial Court on Tuesday ordered the transfer of Cedric Lee and Simeon “Zimmer” Palma Raz Jr. from the NBI Detention Facility to a regular jail in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig.
“The aforementioned accused is/are hereby ordered kept under your custody as detention prisoners during the pendency of this case,” the commitment order addressed to the Jail Warden of Camp Bagong Diwa said.
The commitment order issued Tuesday was signed by Presiding Judge Paz Esperanza Cortes.
However, Lee and Raz will still remain at the NBI Detention Facility due to a motion for continuous detention at the NBI filed by Lee.
The court has set the motion for hearing on May 6.
On the other hand, arraignment for the two is scheduled on April 30.
The two have been at the NBI since Sunday.
