Portions of Roxas Boulevard closed to traffic; Motorists advised to take alternate routes
MANILA, Philippines—Motorists are advised to take alternate routes as the stretch of Roxas Boulevard would be closed to traffic this Saturday, April 26.
In a traffic advisory, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the roads around the Mall of Asia (MOA) would be closed to traffic from 12:00 midnight Friday until 11:00 a.m. Saturday.
The roads closed to traffic are the east and westbound lanes of Seaside Boulevard at its intersection with Macapagal Boulevard and the corner of Seaside Boulevard and Diokno street.
Also, roads within the Star City complex would be close to traffic starting 2:00 p.m. this Saturday in light of this year’s Aliwan Fiesta.
The southbound lane of the Roxas Boulevard would be closed from Katigbak drive to P. Ocampo Street starting 2:00 p.m.

Article continues after this advertisement– All vehicles coming from three (3) bridges (Jones, McArthur & Quezon) utilizing southbound lane of Roxas Blvd. shall turn at round table (Palacio) straight to Ma. Orosa right to TM Kalaw. left to MH del Pilar, left to Pres. Quirino, right to Mabini or use Taft Ave. to point of destination.
– All vehicles coming from northern part of Manila intending to utilize the southbound lane of Roxas Blvd. from P. Burgos to P. Ocampo shall turn left to P. Burgos right to Ma. Orosa, right to TM Kalaw, left to MH del Pilar, left to Pres. Quirino, right to Mabini or use Taft Ave. to point of destination.
– All motorists coming from adjacent roads from P. Burgos, TM Kalaw, UN Ave., P. Gil, left to Pres. Quirino and P. Ocampo shall take Taft Ave., or MH del Pilar to point of destination.
– All vehicles travelling westbound lane of Pres. Quirino intending to utilize the southbound lane of Roxas Blvd., shall turn left to Adriatico right to P. Ocampo, left to FB Harrison to point of destination.
