Breast cancer summit
AS part of its advocacy to raise cancer awareness, the C-Network, in cooperation with the Philippine Society of Medical Oncology (PSMO), will hold a breast cancer summit called “HER Knowledge, HER Empowerment” on Oct. 1 at the City Sports Club Cebu.
One of the highlights of the event is a lay forum with oncologists led by PSMO president Dr. Dennis Tudtud as resource speakers.
The discussion will focus on early diagnosis and a better understanding of the role of genetic predisposition.
The breast cancer summit will also feature lifestyle, nutrition and exercise programs, as well as free breast cancer screenings to the participants.
The summit is made possible with the support of Roche Philippines, Perpetual Succour Hospital, GMA Kapuso Foundation; ICanServe Cebu, Rotary Club of Cebu Fuente and Eduardo J Aboitiz Cancer Center.
