Computer glitch triggers MRT service disruption

MANILA, Philippines—A computer malfunction hit the Metro Rail Transit system (MRT-3) on Saturday afternoon, disrupting its operation, a radio report said.

The report said MRT trips were suspended from Taft Avenue station in Pasay City to Shaw Boulevard station in Mandaluyong City.

As of posting time, MRT operations have not resumed.
