LPA grounds 22 domestic flights
MANILA, Philippines—Domestic flights at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) were cancelled on Tuesday due to a low pressure area, bringing bad weather to the Visayas.
At least 22 flights to and coming from Naga, Legaspi, Caticlan, Busuanga in Palawan and San Jose in Mindoro were cancelled. Cancelled flights were:

At least 10 domestic flights were also delayed due to bad weather.
Meanwhile, authorities of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) have implemented stricter security measures in anticipation of the exodus of travellers during the Lenten break.
The Manila International Airport Authority has asked airlines and other government agencies at NAIA to put in place security and operations procedures are in place in the country’s major airport.
