MANILA, Philippines – Motorists have been advised to take alternative routes as some portions of Edsa would undergo road reblocking and repair this weekend.

In its latest advisory, the Metro Manila Development Authority said that the Department of Public Works and Highways will resume its road works particularly on the northbound lane of EDSA starting April 18 on 8:00 p.m. (Friday) until April 21, 5:00 a.m. (Monday).

In a previous INQUIRER.net report, the two agencies agreed to complete the road repairs, which usually cause heavy traffic in the metro, after Holy Week this year.
