MANILA, Philippines — Tropical depression “Domeng” continued to move slowly on Tuesday and may linger for several days.
Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that Domeng remained at sea and might re-intensify.
On Sunday, Domeng entered the Philippine area of responsibility as a tropical storm and weakened on Monday night.
Domeng was last observed 510 kilometers east northeast of Davao City, packing maximum winds of 55 kilometers per hour near center.
It is forecast to move northwest at 5 kph.
Mindanao , Eastern and Central Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered light rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms, Pagasa said.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over the northern and eastern sections of the country and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to east with slight to moderate seas.
