‘Domeng’ weakens—Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines—Tropical Storm “Domeng” has lost steam even as it is nearing its possible date of landfall, the state weather bureau said Monday night.

In its 11 p.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Domeng was estimated at 610 kilometers east of Davao City as of 10 p.m. Monday.

“Domeng” has maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour and could make a landfall at Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, on Thursday morning.
