Guingona: Report shows collusion among lawmakers, government officials to steal public funds

MANILA, Philippines—The Senate  blue ribbon committee has completed its report in the   P10 billion “pork barrel” scam, its chairman  announced on  Tuesday.

Senator  Teofisto Guingona III, in a  press conference, said the committee report  showed a systematic  scheme and collusion among lawmakers and   certain government officials to  steal public funds.

Guingona said copies of the  report will be sent to  senators for signature.
